i'd go with the humidity being worse. i can't think of anything worse than having to run from air conditioning to air conditioning on a beautiful looking day... well maybe having to do that for three months would be worse
Well, I guess I can't blame you. I mean, who'd want to bask in warm sunshine pretty much all year, when you can be scraping ice off your windshield and shoveling yellow and black slush off your walk?
And for the record, some of the hottest, most humid weather I can remember was summer in NY!
Anyhew, y'all enjoy your day! Overcast and 38 degrees, I think? Beautiful!!
Wow, all this from one little first day of spring post! Thankfully, we all are able to visit each other when the weather is to our liking, so we get the best of both worlds. And it sure is a good thing that everyone is living where they like their weather. Up here, the quote on the right always applies! So, you guys in the sunny sunshine state give us another month...:)
ok, let's set aside the humidity then and focus on lizards running rampid outside floridian homes, should we mention the lovely and extremely active hurricane season you have had for the last few years or would you like to talk about the ever flourishing gator population. I hear sewers are a no go in Florida because it is mostly marsh land. I do recall the "If it's brown, flush it down" motto that had to be addopted due to a septic problem. But one of my favorites would be the rainy hour. What the heck is that all about? Let me guess, Florida charm, right? Enjoy the sunshine Floridians.
A truce has been declared! Thank goodness. To each his own, let there be peace in the kingdom, all's well that ends well, walk a mile in the other guy's shoes, never judge a book by its cover, different strokes for different folks, (s)he marchs to the beat of a different drummer, one man's junk is another man's treasure, que sera, sera...
There are wonderful people in both states. I personally know some -- and they even have wonderful children! Who cares about the weather? The people that I love are what makes each state home to me!
(There has always been this strange competion between Floridians and New Yorkers, which is weird because a lot of them have been both. Right Sherry?)

Man! Well, it doesn't feel like spring here either... it's supposed to get up to 89 degrees today!!
89 degrees in March? I'd hate to see what the temperature will be in August.
About 89 degrees, mostly.
89 degress 110% humidity...inviting
What? A New Yorker mocking Florida's weather? How original.
Fuhgetaboutit.
Hillary in 2008!
I can't decide which would be worse -- 110% humidity or Hillary in '08. Both sound alot like H E double hockey sticks to me!

Yeah, but the humidity wouldn't be there for 4 years straight without a break...
that is true but we also can't vote to stop the heat from coming into the state
you new yorkers didn't vote to keep her out of YOUR state!
We tried, believe me, we tried!
let me just say I don't like Florida weather...there I put it out there...now you know.

Well, since you apparently know more about living in Florida than I do, I will say no more.
I know that in a few months you will have plenty of warm weather and sunshine. And mosquitoes.

Why don't you all move to a central locale? Like, hmmm, NC. Then you could all defend the same place.
There. I solved it. Tada!
I love it! NC it is, i'll go pack.
btw, who ever thought a spring posts would get 22 responses.
I think that may be the record for comments on a post ... so far!
