News Alert!

Another family member has been spotted making their mark in the trendy blogging world! Zip on over to The Terry Tribune and see what's up...

Do you watch AI?

If you're one of the folks who bet money each week on who will be eliminated from American Idol -- and you know who you are! -- you might want to check out this website: Idol-Thoughts.Com. All the songs are there to listen to so no worries if you miss seeing the show. Of course, you'll miss all the judges' strangeness, but hey, you can't have everything!

Take the time...

This morning I was reading a blog I visit periodically -- -- and Jody, the blog's author, suggested a visit to another blog -- -- to read the current post ("let my lifesong sing to you") and all the comments. Maybe you would like to check it out also...

We had a fun time at Markus' birthday celebration. Lots of good conversation, dancing, and yummy food. And, as always, we were all on our best behavior.

Not green yet

Even though spring is in the air, some things in the garden are slow to awaken. By the end of the summer these ornamental grasses will have taken over.

A perfectly innocent picture...

of these antique glass insulators (used originally(1855)on telegraph wires, then telephones and electrical wires) caused the first comment from "what the ?". I couldn't figure the comment out at first, but the reference to "Mrs. Hefner" made me think someone was seeing something in the picture that I didn't see. So, I squinted and blinked and scratched my head and studied the picture. Then, I thought I saw the problem. So, to eliminate the remote possiblity of more comments from others apparently more observant than me, I removed the post. Here is the picture. You be the judge... Whew!

Backyard visitor UPDATE!

I apologize. Apparently I raised a VERY impish daughter. Not to mention that I seem to have a very, very short memory! The worrisome picture of the alligator in Amy's backyard was actually an April Fool's Day joke. AND, the picture of the alligator was one I took at the zoo during our visit to Amy's 2 weeks ago! Congratulations, my little cherub! You got me good...

Spring ahead..

Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead 1 hour before you hit the hay tonight -- or if you're a night owl, you can move them up at 2:00AM...!

It's not just the weather that makes Florida different from NY...
